I installed the magazine in a Chinese SKS with a wooden stock. It required a bit of fitting to get to the point where it snapped in and out smoothly, this was expected. After installation the Tapco magazine performed flawlessly, no jams or hang ups. I''m purchasing a spare!

Had two poorly manufactured metal 30 round mags for my SKS. They came with the gun but did not work. Did some research on the internet and TAPCO 20 round plastic mags were recommended unanimously.
Purchased two TAPCO 20 rounders and i''m in HEAVEN. Fit right into my Chinese Norinco with aftermarket plastic folding stock. Fired 40 test rounds with not a single problem......when before I could only get 2 or 3 shots before jamming.
Simple. If your not running TAPCO mags in your SKS your not serious about your rifle.

This mag fit into my Chinese SKS rifle even much better (tighter)than the original 10 round fixed magazine made of metal.
I fired 60 7.62x39 rounds at the range which fed through the mag extremely well. I am convinced that composite mags are the best for most handguns and rifles. Especially the SKS Rifle. I highly recommend this Tapco product for the serious SKS shooters.

I havent had a chance to fire the my SKS yet with the T6 stock and new mags but the look is awsome, the new capacity is better. Every Youtube video i''ve watched shows them performing great. The only one that showed a problem with them was with trying to reload them with stripper clips while still in the weapon. I tried it then and it was right, it didnt go too good. Who cares though, i load my AR Mags one round at a time(308) so i''ll do it for the SKS too.

Purchased two 20 rd mags. Took me 2hrs to modify my SKS. Used dremel tool to widen mag receiving area of stock. Fired 80 rounds through each. Very satisfide. Glad I modified with these mags.

Finally there is an aftermarket SKS hi-cap magazine that works.
Very well satisfied with its performance and durability.
Works flawlessly when matched with the Tapco stock sets.

I avoided these magazines for years, under the assumption that plastic was junk. I had always gotten the metal ones, which always turned out to be terrible, and pure novelty.When i had gotten my hands on these, they were GREAT. they are rock solid, function perfectly and will outlast any metal sks mag out there besides the ones that come stock with the rifle itself.
