Magazine worked fine, but HP needs to make them higher capacity. 10 rounds gets sucked up pretty fast.

It''s the standard factory magazine. It functions well, and I have not had malfunctions while using it. Like most Hi-Point products, it''s ugly - it has an odd "galvanized" finish that looks like chemical tie-dye. Overall, it seem like good quality.

Just like their guns the HP carbine magazine was simply constructed and worked
the first time i used it. Normally I let it sit for a week fully loaded to let the spring
constrict but it worked fine right out of the box.

This product looks just like the original clip that came with my Hi-Point carbine. I had read reviews concerning jams caused by "after market" clips but have got the real deal on that...
...both the original clip AND the clips I bought here require some special attention, especially when using that Russian steel cased lacquered ammunition. ("Wolf" brand) Just before loading the clip into the carbine it needs to be "spanked" sharply against the butt of the hand, to jostle the clip. Then the top cartridge needs to be checked to see that it is "pointed up" rather than "laying horizontal" for the first round to function properly. If these steps are followed (with the original as well as these after market clips) then the carbine will function flawlessly. I think this issue is more of a matter of *cheap* when it comes to the Hi-Point carbine itself rather than the clips.

Perfect fit in the carbine. Cannot tell the difference between the aftermarket and the orginal. Not jams or problems so far.

Works fine- but I am deducting one star due to the tendency of the top bullet to sit crooked, causing a fail-to-feed. This may work itself out over time as the magazine spring loosens up some.
